    Overview

Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa was born on September 15, 1486 and was a German magician, occult writer, theologian, and alchemist. He taught at Universities about books that spoke of magic. For doing this he was denounced as a heretic and not able to teach at University. He went to study with another philosopher and wrote De occulta philosophia libri tres, a book that describes modern occult theories. Heinrich died on February 18th, 1535. Unlike many, he was not persecuted for his magical or occult beliefs, and died from natural causes.
