I want more games like this

I really enjoyed this game. It's an achievement in storytelling that they were able to give me a complete story arch that thematically fit together and I have to imagine that that's not just because I was lucky and got the only well-written ending. The gameplay is intense; even when you succeed each little step of the quicktime you dont feel like you succeeded as much as you feel like you avoided dying. The truth may be that its actually quite hard (I played on Normal) to die but thats not how it feels. The character models are so good that its disappointing when the occasional animation is stiff or awkward. Walking is a particular break from the game's semi-photo-realism. Characters walk very stiffly and will catch on the edges of tables and walls or discover invisible walls with a plain kind of reaction that is uncharacteristic for the rest of the game. Overall plenty of fun and the kind of video game experience that you just want to crawl up inside of.

It's nice to see new IP's do well, rather than sequels galore. In the simplest of terms this game is unlike anything you've played be...

All that is old is new again. A game comprised entirely of quick-time events (a concept that hasn’t been funky fly since Shenmue) combined with the hunt for a Jigsaw-like killer (imitating a movie that hasn’t been interesting since…well the first one), coupled with Resident Evil-like walking controls (which have never been cool.) Throw in the most daring attempt to climb the uncanny valley to date and you have a game that really, really should not have any claim to relevance in t...
