    A hat for the Soldier in Team Fortress 2. It was added into the game with the Mann-Conomy Update.

    It's a part of The Tank Buster item set, which includes the Black Box and the Battalion's Backup. When all the items in the set are worn at the same time the player gets the buffs and debuffs of the weapons as well as the following effect:

    • +20% Sentry damage resistance on wearer

    It can be crafted with 4x Refined Metal and either the Black Box or the Battalion's Backup.

    The cap is based on a Civil War-era grenadier's cap, and was later defictionalized in the Valve Store. It comes in black and grey, and bears the Soldier's rocket insignia on the front. The Tank Buster set was submitted by Rob "LaroLaro" Laro, who also submitted The Homewrecker, the SHOGUN: Total War promotional set, and the Deus Ex promotional set.
