    Overview

    As well as being used to promote M&Ms in general, Green has also been used in the promotion of peanut butter M&Ms, dark chocolate M&Ms, "Pirate Pearls" white chocolate M&Ms and the Christmas-themed mint chocolate M&Ms. Interestingly, urban legends have long held that the pigmentation on green M&M's contain mild aphrodisiacs. Whether or not making the "sexy" M&M green was a deliberate nod to this is not known for certain but when Mars Snackfood U.S. announced they would be selling special all-green bags of M&Ms for Valentines Day 2008 they claimed they were celebrating the myths associated with green M&Ms. When appearing in promotional material Green has been voiced by Cree Summer.
