Dude, Tokyo has been rumored since GTA:III. I call Bogus.
Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto is a sandbox-violence game, that has drawn attention all over the world, and has pretty much become one of the most noticeable criminal-sandbox franchises ever.
New Grand Theft Auto in 2009?
Really after all these games, USA has gotten tired. It's easy to satire any place, just gear the jokes around the situation or the basic human condition so as not to alienate people.
Is there nobody out there who wants to see GTA set in Istanbul? Amazing city and awesome locations....that would be a good one....
Tokyo? who will mess with the fuzzers over there! GTA set in London in the 60's would be awsome. Long hair and bar fights, nasty all british gangsters.
i rekon they should have PLANES in the new grand theft auto and have a MASIVE map and they should have a country side like grand theft auto sanandreas also
it should be a place outside of the usa country and there should be alot of different types of people with different acents also they should bring back the chop shop lists and a few more activities as well so when you finish the game there is a bit more to do
" @Vinny: Yeah would love to see a futuristic Grand Theft Auto game. It would be so fun hijacking a hover car! I just can't imagine a new GTA game coming out so soon. "Rockstar used to ship a new GTA game every year back in the old days . Given the fact that current generation games take at least twice to make we can assume that a new GTA game should hit the stores in 2010 .
" @Wolverine said:Yeah 2010 seems more realistic to me since it is July and we have not seen even a trailer for a new GTA game." @Vinny: Yeah would love to see a futuristic Grand Theft Auto game. GTA EARTH planes from country 2 country usa italy uk,japan, pakisatn, brazil , australia, china russia, canada , spain and south africa you get the drift differrnt missions different people the works. An internatonal airport service(not real tme) character a intl fugitive worlds most wanted from brazil
Ye I could totally see a new GTA in Paris but there wouldn't be much skycrapper anymore. I also would like them to include new stuff in it like skydiving like they did in GTA San Andreas. New weapons such as silencer, chainsaw, gatling gun, mines.... When you think about it, San Andreas had all that pretty much but without the great graphics and body motions.
What about Grand Theft Auto where the hero is an underdog like a nerd. And he has to, not only steal cars, but try to borrow grandma's stationwagon to pick up stuff for her like prune juice and her Benson & Hedges cigarettes.
I agree with the international approach. It would add a whole new concept to the game, with international drug trade, weapons and money laundering. Imagine 3 or 4 Islands Cuba, Columbia, United States and maybe a nuetral Island where it is just that, a place where the main boss grows drugs and imports them and does all his buisness deals. International ports on the islands which are policed to prevent any illegal smuggling of narcotics and maybe even people? Big container Ships that go port to port, same with an airline for island hopping. Islands should also be more spred out for a more open feel and to add to the idea of these actually being different countries.
Storyline, I think they keep to what they do except they should give us they choice of wether or not we hit bosses or we keep them in the game, the reason for this is because if or when we finish these games you always are stuck with the same things to do at the end phone missions, vigilantes it all gets boring. I mean this guy has just taken over the city, yet he is still taking orders from a dude down the phone!? We are now the boss, we would have access to hitmen, we could still do drug deals with these bosses and have our fortune and power continue to grow even after the credits have rolled. That is just my one of my problems with GTA games, that and how the Police let ya run red lights and run around waving a gun. So they should make him a smarter more sophisticated gangster
GTA: North Liberty, IN
I used to live there. Shitty little town. Doesn't even have a Wal-Mart or McDonalds. Like 1000 people at max, so you could probably kill the entire population in a day. Theres this old guy that runs an antic shop that has a pony tail and a lemmy mustache. I would like to play as him.
VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS, what a setting!!! start small work your way up, compete with other casion's. drug dealers, pimp's, paying people off, would be amazing.
