    The gold wrench is a rare Team Fortress 2 weapon.

    Overview

     During the engineer update Valve gave out 100 gold wrenches. Whenever an item was crafted, there was a small chance that a gold wrench would be found. The gold wrench has the same attributes as the normal wrench, but when a player is killed by the wrench they turn into a golden statue rather than becoming a rag doll.
