Great graphics.
If anything, this game set a pretty high benchmark for graphics on the Xbox 360. But you know what? It's just plain old-fashioned fun. Don't expect the next evolution in entertainment. This is the gaming equivalent of the popcorn movie. Groan-inducing lines, awesome set pieces, and lots of explosions pretty much sums this experience. So don't expect a good story. Because there isn't one.
Most of the games is spent teaching you to use the stop and pop gunplay. Take cover or die, basically. This lends a sense of realism to the combat that is absent in most shooters these days. In a real firefight you don't want to just run and gun, and here that is demonstrated admirably. Most of the guns function the way you expect them too, but there is one stand out weapon here, and that is the Torque Bow. Explosive arrows are pure awesomeness. Believe it.
Overall, despite the absent story and terrible writing, it's a very fun experience, especially with a friend. Those looking for a decent multiplayer experience will get their kicks here too.
