From today till Tuesday 6th all matches have X8 XP on all multiplayer matches. For Horde there will be 9 waves of tickers followed by a wave of boomers.

what does xp get you anyways in gears 2, besides levels

Nothing really. Unless your working for the achievments.

The Boomers-only waves in horde make for a good time.

i got rid of this game a long ass time ago. ive been wondering if tu6 has done enough to make it worth playing online yet.

I put Gears 2 away a while ago, but I am pretty close to getting some level-up achievements. I quit playing because I was having so much trouble, even after Title Update 6. I guess I will try again since I am sure the more-than-normal amount of people will be playing. 
 
 
Wait, no. I just remembered that I won't have a 360 again until the 9th! Nevermind! :(

Tried connecting but had no success finding a game - despite having an open NAT connection on my part :/.
 
Sigh. So played some Gears 1 instead and remembered how less gimmicky that feels compared to 2.
