Okay I realize that Diablo 3 takes some of the thunder from this release but I am surprisingly excited for this release. Anyone else? If so shoot Mr402 a friend request on Steam. I just have a hankering to hear "Warrior needs food badly!"

If it ends up feeling like Gauntlet I really will be. Gauntlet is one of those games I really wanted to play more of but I ended up not buying the versions I wanted as a kid. If they recapture some of that feeling I'd love that.

Diablo 3... meh, I never recovered from the original PC release, which I thought was good, not great. I actually scratched that itch with the Van Helsing games instead. I think Gauntlet feels different, though. Or it should. That's what I'm waiting to find out.

Im excited for Gauntlet, i only ever played the one on the N64 though. Im more excited for Helldivers and Magicka 2 though

If you watched any amount of the PAX streams, you've had your fill of Gauntlet for the rest of ever.

Yeah, after the invasive and cringeworthy PAX advertising campaign, I went from being mildly interested in Gauntlet to actively avoiding it.

I'm a little worried that you have to compete with your friends for gold. People getting jealous because the other people are stealing more of the gold and upgrading faster does not sound good to me.

After the PAX Prime ads and coverage of the game, I have little to no interest in playing it anymore. It looks alright though, and I am a fan of the originals in Arcade and on NES.

Anything involving swords and sorcery that isn't Diablo III or DA:I isn't on my radar right now. This includes the Witcher 3 and the final movie of the Hobbit.

I would be interested if it came to the consoles, where I can play local co-op, unlike the pc.

It's $4.99 on PSN this week. Wondering if it's worth that, esp to play 1 player.
