    Someone thought it would be a good idea to make the Fresh Prince an unlockable character in NBA Jam Tournament Edition, supposedly because the sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" made a point of Will Smith (the on-screen character) being a very good basketball player. Whether or not his inclusion in the game (along with Jeffrey "DJ Jazzy Jeff" Townes) was actually a good idea is questionable, but here's how you do it:

    SNES: At the name-entry screen, place the cursor over the letter ''W'', then hold Start and press Y. Now, move the cursor over to the ''I'', then hold Start and press B. Finally, highlight ''L'' and just press A.

    Genesis: At the name-entry screen, place the cursor over the letter ''W'', then hold Start and press C. Now, move the cursor over to the ''I'', then hold Start and press B. Finally, highlight ''L'' and just press A.
