So Mr. Schafer will be on Fallon's late night show tonight (as of the time posted, less than 20 minutes to air).
I'm hoping that I'm not the only one watching this because this is pretty damn huge. Excluding G4, not many, if any, game developers get invited to talk on television, especially late night talk. Support the guy!
Also, if you tune in right now, Conan keeps giving the death stare for no particular reason.
EDIT: Here's a video of the interview thanks to Psyx2
Tim Schafer on Jimmy Fallon Tonight
" Fine, I'll watch, but only because Tim Schafer is awesome in every way imaginable. Not because I like Jimmy Fallon. "What's wrong with Jimmy Fallon?
" @Snipzor said:I don't know, just don't like him. Kind of like how House got on my nerves. I can't explain it." Fine, I'll watch, but only because Tim Schafer is awesome in every way imaginable. Not because I like Jimmy Fallon. "What's wrong with Jimmy Fallon? "
Thanks for the reminder.

" @Snipzor said:His monologues are atrocious. Other than that, after seeing Felicia Day appear on his show, I understood his purpose." Fine, I'll watch, but only because Tim Schafer is awesome in every way imaginable. Not because I like Jimmy Fallon. "What's wrong with Jimmy Fallon? "
" @bonbolapti: That's exactly my point, would Jay Leno even understand World of Warcraft, maybe even Conan, but Fallon can at least look like he would know about blips and bloops, you know those games the kids are into these days. "One of the many reasons I respect Fallon.

I don't know when it happened, but one day I was watching a DVR'd episode of Fallon as I was still too lazy to remove it from my list and I thought to myself "You know what? I kinda like this show now." I stuck around since my favorite band was hired as his late night band and somewhere along the way I grew to appreciate his show. I'll def be watching this one.
He has a genuine liking of games and you can tell. He's already had Kudo Tsunoda and Morgan Webb on his show. I remember watching both and he seemed to be pretty into talking about games. On the other hand, most of the audience seemed to have a pretty low reaction to having game related people on his show. Except for when Tsunoda brought along Natal and everyone wore those goofy jumpsuits. That's exactly my point, would Jay Leno or Letterman even understand World of Warcraft, maybe Conan, but Fallon can at least look like he would know about blips and bloops, you know those games the kids are into these days.
And, jumped the gun, forgot I'm in a different time zone.
"On the other hand, most of the audience seemed to have a pretty low reaction to having game related people on his show. Except for when Tsunoda brought along Natal and everyone wore those goofy jumpsuits. "Well, Tim is a pretty funny dude, so I expect audience peeps to be into him.
Additional guests seem to be Drew Barrymore and some people that are making a world record of some sort.
How many of you bet that Tim's gonna say something like, "We have Jack Black in our game"?I think he's gonna have to drop Black's name a few times just to get the audience to be interested.
Maybe I'll download the Brutal Legend demo and play it while he's talking to Drew Barrymore.
Just saw the intro and I wish that I had a sawed-off shot-gun that shoots razor blades so that I could simultaneously blow my brains out and slit my wrists at the same time. My god Fallon is terrible, if it weren't for Schafer I would never let that putrid beast onto my TV screen.
...too harsh?
" @JackiJinx: Hmm, maybe sidekick not the right word...that guy with the glasses that shot pasta out his eyes. What would you call him? "Sideshow Bob?
