Currently rewatching Game of Thrones on BluRay, and it's just the kind of thing that gets better with every further viewing. I think it's the 4th time I'm watching season 1, and it'll be the second time through season 2 later, and damn are there ever more hidden details springing to eye - so much love and care evident throughout its production, it's staggering, I can't help but love it.

Such are rare and precious things, worthy of praise and mention. Name some such, so more such things might be discovered by many more.

@pr1mus: OutRun is a great album, but I preferred his older EPs. They just had catchier tunes I think, but I could see OutRun being a grower and something I'll like more with time.

Bad alcohol. The opposite happens with good alcohol; the more you have, the less you can discern the subtleties and nuances of a good drink, which is what makes it stand out from a crap drink in the first place.

More alcohol makes bad drinks good and good drinks mediocre.

BEEN THERE BROTHER. YOU SPEAK TROOF.

but for me- good albums, i guess? this will date me, but one of the first CDs i ever bought was mellon collie, and i'm still finding new things in that record. but take any example you like- the beatles, radiohead, etc.

but also in a very general sense- i'd say FOOD. the more i have (in terms of variety, not quantity), the more i appreciate individual dishes for their unique flavour.

I'd say just going back to something you hadn't experienced in a while, simply because you're going to pick out weird stuff you didn't notice your first time through.

For example, Tails knows a mistake when he sees one.

This reminds me of playing EarthBound again last year. The only time i ever finished if before was back when it came out. I was 12 and barely spoke any English at the time. I remember thinking it was neat playing an RPG in a realistic and normal modern day setting.

Screaming/grunting/growling/harsh vocals in general. The first time I heard the idea, I said "what the fuck?" but later on I came to develop something of a taste for it. It's still a weird-as-hell way to do vocals, but then so is rapping and opera and whatever else you can think of.

Pig squealing, on the other hand, remains pretty dumb.

You're talking about music, right? Not just the concept of screaming and squealing?

Killing, the disposing of the bodies however, well that's the exact opposite, it becomes quite tedious.

I'd agree with that. It sounded awful and incomprehensible the first few times I listened to it, but now I like music with screamed/growled vocals a lot.

Well, yeah. That would be why I mentioned rap and opera as well.

Have you notheard ofthe concept?

Hmmm, Halo 2, Beer at one point, strong cheese, Donkey Kong Country Returns, weight lifting (Because dem gains!), and maybe Whiskey.

I am aware you can't consume weight lifting, but I think that is something that becomes much more enjoyable over time, which is how I interpret this question.

Oh and some (good) music, that is a HUGE one.

Parks and Rec was better the second time around. That might be because I watched it by myself first and then with my mom and sisters though.
