Seeing your avatar and your use of the word "mission", I have the oddest feeling that the Mormons are more badass than I initially thought.
What do you mean? The roles have been reversed; do what you wish.I remember yelling at you because I hated all that religion stuff. I'm not allowed to do that anymore :(
I live in Idaho, which is only second to Utah in Mormons, so I actually know what he's talking about. I could bore you with the general subtleties that my Mormon friends have told me about what this entails, but I'll just settle for "Welcome Back Elder BoG"

So, as many of you know, and many of you don't, I've been absent for two years. Many have asked what in the world I was doing, so I'll tell you once again. I was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, more commonly known as Mormons. I spent my days preaching about Jesus in the ghettos of New York City. No, I probably didn't knock on your door in an annoying way, we avoid that. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It has driven me to the belief that video games are overly violent, and poison the minds of our children (kidding). Now, I could share some great spiritual experience, but this is a video games forum on the internet, so that would be silly. Instead, I'll share another experience. While I was working in Jamaica Queens, another missionary an I went into a Duane Reade Pharmacy on Jamaica ave. As we walked to the register to make our purchase, we were passed by a trio of large, black women. One checked me out from head to toe, and as she passed said "ooh! white dick." She then grabbed my junk. Yep, gotta love NYC. Anyways, it's great to be back. I'm excited to apply what I've learned, start my adult life, and most importantly, play video games. Woo!Do all the chicks do that in NYC or only the ugly ones? maybe i need to go to NYC... WELCOME BACK BY THE WAY!
For some reason, I was always under the impression that you went to South America or something (probably because that's a cliche for missionary work?), but New York City is close enough in my book. Regardless, welcome back and that sounds like the fondling experience many dream of, but few experience. Treasure it forever!
Also, I'm curious as to what your reaction was when you first came back to the site. The aesthetic and layout changes are often a little jarring for those of us that are always around, but I imagine it's even more so for someone out of the loop like yourself.
