You will enjoy anything by Justin Bieber, Usher or Pearl Jam.  They're all pretty much the same.

I'd say Do As Infinity's Do the Best, but only if you're into J-Pop.

On the western front, I would recommend Worlds Collide by Apocalyptica or This is Where I Came In by the Bee Gees.

One album I can recommend you based off your mention of Scott Pilgrim soundtrack is Skulltaste, by muxmool. Most of the album is all instrumental.

If you like Beirut you might enjoy "He Poos Clouds" by Final Fantasy.

Shugo Tokumaru is one of the freshest, most creative song writers in the world . Members of Beirut actually toured as part of his band when he was in America.

@Mowgers: You don't seem to be citing any preference for genre, so I'll go with Horror Show by Iced Earth. I think it's their best album and certainly their best before the band got all jingoistic.

You might be into The Alaya Conscious.  It's an instrumental 3 piece band from here in Chicago.  Get their Seventy One Percent EP off Amazon .  It's really good!

As The Roots Undo is probably my favorite album ever.  And since you mentioned 65daysofstatic, and thus have exposure to post-rock, I'll recommend anything by God Is An Astronaut, especially their song Zodiac.

I take offense at Pearl Jam being in that comment. They may have fallen in the last few years, but Ten was one of the best grunge albums ever

The Human Equation by Ayreon. One of the best albums ever made, next to Animals by Pink Floyd, The Wall by Pink Floyd, and maybe Lateralus by Tool

Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness

This album has 1 track which 60 minutes long. This album oozes atmosphere, is extremely varied yet it still feels like 1 epic song and not many songs cobbled together.
