"That one image from The Last King of Scotland "/thread I shit you not, that movie made me cry tears of sadness. It was THAT good! That particular scene is what keeps me from watching that movie again. Forest Whitaker, after that part...when he's watching Deep Throat in his private theater...dood, that muthafucker was COLD! Great performance on his part.
Most recently Ex Drummer, The 120 Days of Sodom, Martyrs, and Funny Games.
Edit: Also, Irreversible.
Nobody's mentioned Jacob's Ladder or either of the Tetsuo films?
I'd like to say that a lot of the movies mentioned here are personal faves (Oldboy especially). I showed some friends Riki-Oh once and everybody agreed with me that it's so wonderfully ludicrous that we should have a boozy movie night with it.
@Bucketdeth: Thanks, dude. Now I've got that "In Heaven Everything Is Fine" song stuck in my head.
@Bucketdeth: Thanks, dude. Now I've got that "In Heaven Everything Is Fine" song stuck in my head. "Haha the same thing happened to me.
Still one of my all time favourite flicks. The imagery is just incredible. The disjointed, paranoid tone of the whole thing just swallows you up, and just when you think you've got a handle on everything the rug gets pulled out from under you all over again." @buzz_clik: I can agree that when it came out, Jacob's Ladder was VERY fucked-up. Leaves behind 5-year-old daughter. Kid is taken in by priest uncle. Kid is screwed in the head from living in the shadow of her ho-ass mom's fucked up life. Priest and bastard girl take revenge on the porno industry. ...Abuse. Child promiscuity. Crowbars to the head and genitals. Exploding teddy bears. Broken elbows. All animated, save for a few grainy live-action recordings that are hella hard to sit through...this movie hurt my soul a lil bit.
I watched that shit when I was younger and just couldn't sleep well for days. Freaking weird rendering." Michael Jackson's Moon walker always struck me as odd.

The Dead Girl
The acting and motivations might not be the greatest, but seriously.... what the hell is wrong with this movie?
Anything by Takashi Miike. Dude is a genius when it comes to making fucked up cinema. Case in point: Visitor Q.
"The Machine Girl"But that movie was so hilariously bad! No idea why you could see that as messed up.
My two are Martyrs and Blood Feast 2.
Haha I think Buckethead has a song for every fucked up movie, this song here is actually called Imprint(Dedicated to Takashi Miike)" Anything by Takashi Miike. Dude is a genius when it comes to making fucked up cinema. Case in point: Visitor Q. "

" Cannibal Holocaust is just fucked up in every way possible. "
" @EpicSteve said:In the context of the movie though it isn't that bad. Like, the movie is so completely ridiculous and (unintentionally?) hilarious that this carried no weight at all to it.I stand corrected, THIS beats the above movie in terms of "seriously messed up". "
No one will beat this.
"
The Last King of Scotland? Man... now I don't know if I want to see it....
The most messed up movie I can think of is American History X. It's so screwed up that I just can't understand how so many people actually enjoy it. It's a very unpleasant film to watch, with an ending that spits right in your face. The curb stomping scene in particular left me traumatized for months, and dude, I saw the censored TV version!
