Cat or Dog Person?

I'm a cat man myself.

Cats all the way.  Dogs are stupid and dependant, Cats are smart and independent.  I also find Cats cuter, and even though people say dogs are more loyal and stuff, my cat loves me more than I've ever seen a dog love it's master.

I guess I would have to say I am more of a dog person, having only ever owned a dog, which I love very much.
 
However I would really like to get a cat someday, not sure exactly why?

@SamStrife: Sorry, going to have to disagree. Cat people say they don't listen because they're "independent." I say it's because they're stupid. When was the last time a cat was used as a search and rescue animal, bomb sniffer, aid to the handicapped etc.? All they do is shit in a box inside. I mean seriously, who was the first person who thought it was a good idea to train their cat to shit inside?

I actually have 2 dogs, a ferret, and a bird. I also got two stray cats that I feed that live under the house that are mean. I'm a dog person, but I like my albino ferret and old bird. = - P

I love my cat but I also love my spiders. They look something like this.......
 

Dogs, no contest. Cats are pretty cool, but they're so inconsistent, I find.

Both are cool, but dogs are better.

I used to own a cat, it was a dumbass. It would constantly knock everything over and jump at peoples faces and try killing them and rip up all of my clothing. Plus cats never listen, you tell them to come to you and they stare at you like an idiot until you grab a toy mouse or something and start shaking it around. "

I've had a bad experience with dogs, so cats. I must have had a hundred of them the past ten years or so due to breeding.

I kind of want a cockatiel, ferret, or rabbit though. Maybe when I move out. 

I have nothing against cats, but I like dogs so much more. 

I like both cats and dogs but if I had to choose I'd go with cats, they can be really cute and they don't need anywhere near the attention a dog does

My mainecoon could probably eat a small dog. On the other hand my shepherd and lab could probably eat her, hmmm.

whenever i find a cool mellow dog i also find out they're a special case or mad expensive

cats. just cuz their attitudes, plus they dont come off as retards haha
