Good old Carlsberg or Tuborg. Some might call them expensive, but imported beer around here is moor expensive than like two cases of either Tuborg or Carlsberg. Bringe two cases(60 beers!!) of either one to a party and you're all set to go. Just watch yourselves because other people might go "Can I have one?" .. just say no! Keep 'em to yourselves.
I know they might not be very strong(4,3% or something like that) but they do taste good You know what, bring an extra case just in case it's not strong enough :D Though when you get to around 25 on a good day, you're kinda starting to feel it
Do they still make "The Beast"? That crap was horrible but it would get you "there". But, when I was younger, the best/worst beer beer was "Mold Milwaukee".
Bavaria Crown is the cheapest and thus most popular Beer sold in the campus pub in my college. Needless to say I drink a lot of it. Although, since the start of the year I have come to love this humble beer. It always treats me right.
@PenguinDust: They still do make Milwaukee's Best and it is still called "the beast". And yes, it is still terrible. Usually as cheap as I go is Busch or High Life which are not the worst at all and are like 15$ for a 30 pack which is not bad at all. In general though my usual is Budweiser or Michelob in the tapper at our bar downstairs for like 35 cents a glass.
Dunno where you guys are from, but Sam Adams, Stella, and Red Stripe are all pricey and all delicious, at least in the middle of the United States.
I do enjoy PBR, Keystone Light isn't terrible. Natural Light tastes like vomit...
However, I'm partial to Schlitz. Perfect for when you're having a schlitty day... oh and Beer 30 is quite nice. So damn generic. The can makes it look like Grape Shasta.
@emkeighcameron: I have to disagree with it being cheap. It's over $9 a six pack by me. When I was in college in the philadelphia area, we used to get cases of this filth called Jacob's Best. Worst hangover ever. I usually go with either Miller High Life or Schaefer for cheap swill

And both Carlsberg and Tuborg are both made here in Denmark =D I just picked those as the cheap beer since I normally drink imported stuff that tastes better. I'm just sad that it takes so long to feel that you're drinking when it comes to either Carlsberg or Tuborg :(

My liver actually 'kicked' when i saw these two. MB probably the only beer you could drink a case and still feel fine, but still able to get girls drunk with only one or two. Old Milwaukee is actually not bad, however have not drank it in years.
As someone who lives in Milwaukee, I feel obligated to go on record stating that Milwaukee's Best is some of the worst beer you will find anywhere on this planet.
PBR is a pretty good beer for its very low price. I would also like to nominate Schlitz in this same category.
Bud light and Coors light do not count as cheap beer.
I would have to go with Natty Light, or my old friend, a few 40s of Old E. I had Colt 45 once. I think it was $3 for a 6 pack and it tasted like aluminum.
This thread is grossing me out a bit. I can't stand bad beer. If you're just drinking it to get drunk get yourself a nice high alcohol IPA. Sure, it might cost twice as much and you can only drink half as much because it's heavy, but you can get some with 3x the ABV. Mathematically it works out and you can find some really delicious stuff.
As far as price performance(getting you drunk not tasting good) ratio goes, Miller High Life is the best I could find around here. ~10 dollars for an 18 bottle pack.
pbr if its good enough for clint eastwood then its good enough for me, but for all you kids out there if you are at a bar before getting a pbr ask how much a good beer is on tap most of the time the prices are close enough to just go with the good stuff,
Fuck your cheap beer. If you're not binge drinking at a house party on college or playing beer pong, find something good and/or locally brewed to drink.
