I just got done S-Ranking Mass Effect 2 after a year of trying, and goddamn it felt good. Especially because all my other S-Ranks, save one, were Arcade games. So what is your favorite or proudest S-Rank?
Garou was especially hard to get, since it had alot of online "beat 10 guys" achievements, and its IMPOSSIBLE to find matches, especially that far after release.
I have one so I guess by default it would be Pac-Man CE:DX. It took all of about 20 minutes of playing the game. I'm still working on my first platinum trophy on PS3.. should be DCUO.... to bad it won't populate on GB.

It's a bit of a tie between Shadow Complex and Mass Effect 2. The speed run felt great in complex because it felt like I was breaking the game. And in ME2 insanity took patience.

I'm tempted to say Ninja Gaiden 2, but that's only really because of the reputation it has.
Maybe Halo 3 or the original Pac-Man, doing Halo 3 just felt like I reached the end of a long road due to how long it took to do it. And eating all 4 ghosts 4 times in Pac-Man was insane.
Mass Effect 1, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy 13 and Castlevania: LoS are up there... off the top of my head. It took me so long to get all the weapons in FFXIII, part of the reason why my gamerpic was of Fang for the longest time. Nice way to show it off :P

Also, I just need to find some time to do the Moxxi achievements in borderlands and that's mine too.

I even followed a guide and double checked 3 times where all the shards should be, until i restarted and tried again with a new guide. Still missing one shard.
they should just show where they are on the map if you only need 10 shards :I
I don't have any S-Ranks... sob... I'm just 3 achievements aways for getting the Half Life 2 S-Rank though, that includes finding all the secret lambda rooms, getting 5 kills with manhacks and getting through ravenholm using only the gravity gun as a weapon!
Mine as well was Mass Effect 2....when I finally got Insanity I couldn't be more proud. Then they added in the DLCs and now I no longer have the S-Rank :( it broke my heart.
@Vextroid: Yeah I got Bully too and it was ridiculously hard to S-Rank, I totally forgot about that one. If you miss even one thing you could screw yourself over for the Perfectionist achievement, not to mention if the achievement glitches.
Mass Effect, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and probably Force Unleashed were my proudest. Call of Duty: World at War would have been if they didn't add those zombie DLC achievements to take it away.
The Saboteur or Just Cause 2. Both completely mind-numbing, but I just turned down the game sound, turned on some music or NPR, and sort of mentally tuned out towards the end of each. All those buildings to blow up became mindless in a good way, very relaxing. Sort of strange, I know, but I enjoyed it.
I only have two, and those two are Pac-Man Championship Edition DX and Mass Effect, soo... I guess Mass Effect. Actually Mass Effect was pretty damn time consuming, thank god there were no ally achievements in ME2, especially considering how many team members you have in that game... I'm also 1 achievement away from an ME2 S-Rank after just 1 playthrough, though I've played it through numerous times on PC, but still... The most ridiculous thing is that it isn't a hard achievement I'm missing, it's the Paramour achievement...
