Believe it or not, around the year 2000-2003.

2. What was the first console you owned?

OWNED? PS2, though I had played more before that.

3. Do you remember the first game you played?

I'm not sure, either Crash , Jak & Daxter, or Ratchet & Clank. Hard to remember.

4. What was the first handheld you owned?

Gameboy.

5. Which console(s) do you have at the moment? Including handhelds.

PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advanced, Gameboy advanced SP, DS, DS lite, Xbox, & Gamecube.

6. Ever bought a console at its launch?

Yeah, PS3.

7. Ever waited in line to buy a console?

Somewhat.

8. If you have a 360 do you pay for an online subscription? If not, why don't you? If you have any other console would you pay for online?

When I had one yes, but now I don't. My friend pays for it though, but I know where to get 48 day free online cards.

9. Have you ever played a MMO game?

Yeah..

10. What is your favorite and second favorite console and why?

PS3, last me a lot, serves as my entertainment hub, and PSP, because its my portable media hub, lol.

Oh I don't know...

Can't say, really like J&D.

13. What is your favorite game genre?

Can't say tbh, platforming, shooters, puzzles? Doesn't matter as long as its fun.

That's hard, but maybe J&D, R&C, KH?

Can't say and won't say, too hard.

16. What game has given you the best online experience?

Halo CE/2, and Socom on PS2. RFOM on PS3 as well.

Nah, got emotional? Yes.

MGS probably.

19. Do you prefer game-play over graphics?

To an extent, there is a certain balance they must maintain.

20. Ever regretted buying a game?

Yeah of course.

Can't say really..

Not really, usually use cheat codes after I beat the game.

Hell yeah.

Don't remember, but at least 8 hours or so.

Something like that yeah.

Playstation 3 = 5 games, Xbox 360 = 5 games, Wii = 2 games. I've sold quite a few games though.

Right now, 360, because it has many good exclusives, and achievements. Second, PS2, because of the large amount of awesome games released on it over the years.

I had a gold account, and I dropped it this year, I don't really care for online play and I realized I was just wasting money. I was heavy into playing PGR2 but that was really the only XBL game I ever played for more than a week or so. At this point I'm unwilling to pay for online ever again.

That's ridiculously tough. I mean the N64 was a great party machine and it had OoT but I don't know if I would put that above the SNES. I'm going to go SNES and PS2, I think overall they offered/offer me (still playing PS2 games) the most enjoyment of all the consoles I've owned.

This year there is nothing I'm ecstatic about, I'll buy a lot of stuff but I won't be waiting anxiously for any one thing (that I can think of right now) at this moment I'm probably most excited for Dragon Quest IV on the DS.

Not anymore, I was in the Nintendo camp way back in the SNES Vs. Genesis days.

I think I once played Day of Defeat over the course of an entire christmas eve, then later in the night swapping to Counter Strike until about 4 in the morning. I also am positive that I played Enemy Territory for some very unhealthy amounts of time. Final Fantasy Tactics has also done a good job of eating up massive amounts of time.

Yeah, I pay for Xbox Live. I'd pay for PS3's online service if I had one and if it'd greatly improve the service.

Yikes, tough question. I guess I'm gonna have to go with SNES for the favorite, and PS2 for the second. The SNES was one of the greatest gaming consoles ever made. Tons of great games. The PS2 has just an amazing library.

I'm just gonna divide my number of games total by the number of consoles I own. On average, I have about 15 games per console, however in actuality, for some consoles (like the PS2) I have far more games than other consoles.

Only a few, actually. I try to pick my games carefully. I regret buying Viewtiful Joe, which was loved by critics but not so much by me. Also, Soul Calibur 2, mainly because it just didn't hold my interest for long and I've hardly played it. There may be several 360 games I purchased that I might regret soon. I need to give some of them more of a chance before deciding.

I don't know if it's nostalgia, but my favorite console is the SNES. There were so many (too many to count) outstanding games on the system. Second favorite is the Gamecube, which took the quality over quantity approach a bit too literally. The Metroid Prime series is my favorite trilogy of the last decade.

I'll assume we're just talking current gen. I have 14 retail Wii games, and 2 Wiiware games.

I'll answer this question in two ways. My favorite genre (in a universal sense) is science fiction (Metroid Prime, Starcraft, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc..). My favorite video game genre would have to be action/action adventure, and I'm going to count 2D action-platformers in this category because I'm weak.

No physical tears, but there was definately that "feeling" brewing during some Blizzard cinematics (Grom, Tassadar).

This question is too hard to answer. Toss up between Starcraft, Warcraft, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, I could go on.

In a technical sense, yes. I don't need a billion polygons and ultra-sharp textures, but I do need good art direction to enjoy a game. I think a good example of my graphical preference can be seen in a game like Darwinia/Multiwinia.

20. Ever regretted buying a game?

Yes. I regretted buying Crysis because I felt the demo was "enough" in terms of experiencing the game.

21. What game has the best music?

Final Fantasy VI immediately comes to mind. I also love Morrowind's score. (World of Warcraft gets a shout-out.)

When I was younger, when you really needed cheat codes to beat some games. I used them to be Starcraft too when I played it back in 1998. I use walk-through a lot too.

I believe I was around two years old when my older brothers shoved a Sega Master System in front of me and let me repeatedly get myself killed in Alex the Kidd.

My relationship with gamings pretty much just grew from there I've been playing consistently since.

I don't really like to play favourites but my 360 gets the most play time so we'll go with that, followed by my PS2.

I'm not dragging my older consoles out of the closet to count the games, but around twenty each.

That said if a game series is coming out with a sequel and I haven't played the older games I'll use cheat codes if available to get through the story before the game comes out.

When The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out I had one that lasted a little over twenty four hours.

I do, but the fact that Crysis and Warhead looked amazing certainly helped my purchasing decision.

Escape From Monkey Island for PS2. I would have said Big Rigs, but I don't think piracy is a synonym of buying.

The high-impact soundtrack in Crysis Warhead really popped out at me as a major improvement over the original.

Subscription to an online service, for me, would have to be very well justified. To me, the 360 doesn't offer anything I can't get on my PS3. There's almost no difference in gaming performance, and in a lot of cases, the PS3 is able to support WAAAAAAY more players at once. So far, the max for 360 has been 24. However, I would pay for an MMO, depending on the features, and whether the focus is PvP or PvE.

Yes. Plenty of them, though never subscription-based ones.

10. What is your favorite and second favorite console and why?

My favorite console of all time is the PS2. I picked it up in May of 2002, and got Metal Gear Solid 2 as my first game. I've been a Sony loyalist ever since. My second favorite would have to be PS1. It got me into gaming, and I enjoyed playing PS1 games well into my PS2 ownership.

I have about 15 for my PS3, 30 or so for PS2, and only a handful for PS1.

Solid Snake. He is the epitomy of a hero, and has influenced my life pretty significantly.

That's a toughie. Overall, I have to say traditional RPGs (think Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and X). The emotional impact of the story in RPGs has always really struck a chord with me. I miss the good old days.
