Podcast feed updates to old episodes

I've been getting new episode notifications from my podcast player (Overcast) for old episodes for a while now. I had been dismissing them since it was only one episode every once in a while, but today I got this notification about 399 episodes.

What's going on with the old episodes?

Is this going to keep happening?

I’ve been getting this in my overcast app as well. Not sure what the issue is. None of my other subscribed shows are pushing old notifications.

this appears to be a glitch, It's been happening to me too.

Happened again today. Since it’s not happening for any of my other podcasts, I assume GB is making changes on their end with encoding or something? I’m a tech dunce but maybe it’s related to what Rorie’s talked about with other items.

I think they're changing over RSS feeds or something, I suspect it will stop eventually.

For a while now I've had an issue where—and this only happens with the Bombcast, and with no other podcast I listen to—it will download and delete itself as if played within an hour or two unless I start it right away. It's strange.
