@whitegreyblack I got karaoke versions of GnR songs, then sang dumb lyrics over them myself. Lots of places have those instrumental tracks for less than a few $. The DJ voices are from the games, and voice over I found of Stryker on Youtube. I did the graphic overlays and lower thirds in Photoshop - trying to simulate the look of those old VHS infomercial things. I based the announcer voice on those old commercials too. As stupid as it sounds, the thing that absolutely took the longest was making up derivative song names that were kinda funny and also really dumb at the same time.
@bisonhero That's a GnR tribute band called Guns 4 Roses I found on Youtube. I cut some footage up and messed with it until I got the look I wanted. I've played in bands for years, and I do music and video contract work, so I probably do have a bunch of clothing/props that I could use to film something like this. There's a surprisingly large amount of GnR tribute bands/people doing this kinda stuff on Youtube, so was no shortage of clips. Plus, this way was much less time consuming. :)
@samfo I agree, that Paradise section needs work. It would be cut down considerably (if not dropped) with review edits.
@ripelivejam Oh man, I must have somehow missed Jeff doing that. Would have been great to put in someplace.
