Cyrodiil is a province in central Tamriel. It is home to a well-spoken race of humans known as the Imperials. Also, the setting for The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion.
High Rock is a province in northwestern Tamriel and home to both the Breton and Orc races in the Elder Scrolls series.
Nirn is a High-Fantasy setting that encompasses all thirteen Elder Scrolls games. It was first introduced in "Arena."
The Planes of Oblivion are regions that the player is able to visit. One should be careful when entering an Oblivion Gate, consequently travelling to one of these Oblivion Planes, infested by merciless creatures and sadistic traps.
Skyrim is the northern most province in Tamriel and home to the Nord race in the Elder Scrolls series.
Vvardenfell is an island in the province of Morrowind. The natives are Dark Elves, whom are divided into six different houses (clans). It appears as a central location for players to explore in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (wherein it first appeared); it also appears in The Elder Scrolls Online as part of the expansion pack titled 'Morrowind'.
