After seeing Fallout 3 GOTY Edition on Steam for £6 during the QuakCon sale I couldn't help but take up the great deal! I launched the game and managed to play for a few minutes to ensure it was working, I then returned later in the day to play the game to find that the game would constantly crash at the launcher.
I have not been able to find a working solution thus far but for some reason verifying the cache via Steam seems to fix the bug, but I have to do this every single time I want to load the game otherwise it will definitely crash.
Has anyone else suffered from this bug and found a solution?
Here are my rough specs:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Memory: 4 GB
Graphics Card: nVIDIA 9600 GT
