    Emmitt Smith is a 5’9”, 210 lb. running back who played 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and 2 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He was born in on May 15, 1969. He got accepted at the . His first season there was in 1987. Smith set many school records at , including rushing yards in a season (1,599), rushing yards in one game (316), career rushing yards (3,928), and career rushing touchdowns (36). After his junior year, hired a new coach, Steve Spurrier. Emmitt decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 1990 NFL Draft. He was drafted in the first round as the 17 overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys. In his second through twelfth years, all with the Dallas Cowboys, Smith amassed over 1,000 yards rushing in a season. He won three Super Bowls and was Super Bowl MVP once. He is an 8-time Pro Bowler. He is the NFL’s career rushing leader with 18,355 yards. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
