Eldritch has both action and stealth elements. Players can chose how to take on enemies based on preferred playstyle, however unlike other games which often tie the players actions to a moral choice system, Eldritch doesn't reward specific playstyles. Players use a variety of items, spells and weapons to advance through 4 worlds, descending deeper into Cthulhu mythos.
| ====Fists==== | Fists are the default weapon when no other items are equipped. Punches deal a meager 1 damage. |
| ====Knife==== | The knife is a common melee weapon. Deals 2 damage. |
| ====Bottle==== | Bottles can be thrown at enemies, however they break upon impact. Deals 2 damage. They can also be thrown to distract certain enemies. |
| ====Stone==== | Stones can be thrown and reused. Deals 2 damage. They can also be thrown to distract certain enemies. |
| ====Pistol==== | The pistol is a standard ranged weapon, consumes ammo and deals 2 damage. The pistol also pairs with the destruction amulet, resulting in bullets that can destroy terrain. |
| ====Crossbow==== | The crossbow creates a tripwire which damages enemies who cross it. Consumes ammo and deals 2 damage. |
| ====TNT==== | TNT can be thrown much like bottles or stones and creates an explosion which not only damages enemies but also destroys terrain. |
| Destruction Amulet | Increases attack damage for all weapons and allows pistol to destroy terrain. |
| Lucky Charm | Find more loot on corpses. |
| Compass | Indicates direction of dungeon exit. |
| Conjurer's Talisman | Reduces artifact cost for spell usage. |
