    The EB Games Expo is the first public games exhibition to be held in Australia.

    Previously the Expo was a yearly event for EB Games Store Managers to preview the holiday releases, but in October 2011 was opened to the public.

    In 2011 the First ever Public Expo was held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, in the Gold Coast Convention Center. There were three 6 Hour sessions over 2 days for people to purchase tickets for. 2 Sessions on Saturday the 15th and 1 Session on Sunday the 16th of October 2011. General Tickets and VIP tickets were available to purchase with only 400 VIP tickets available for each session.
