    Dynasty Warriors

    A traditional 3D fighting game and spin-off of Koei's Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, pitting heroes from each of the Three Kingdoms against each-other. It's best known for its large genre switch made standard for the game's numerous sequels.

    Unlocking Characters

    The following requirements must be met to unlock the game's hidden characters.

    • Cao Cao: Beat the game with all Wei characters (Xiahou Dun, Dian Wei, Xu Zhu).
    • Zhuge Liang: Beat the game with all Shu characters (Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei).
    • Lu Bu: Beat the game with Cao Cao, Zhuge Liang, Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, Taishi Ci, and Diaochan.

    The following characters are unlockable only via code and borrow movesets from other characters:

    • Sun Shangxiang: On the title screen, press Left, Left, Triangle, Square, L1, R1
    • Nobunaga: On the title screen, press Square, Up, Triangle, Down, Circle. Only available after beating the game with Lu Bu.
    • Toukichi: On the title screen, press Down, Down, Right, Up, Circle, Triangle, R1, R2. Only available after beating the game with Nobunaga.
