    Dredmor or less 0

Dungeons of Dredmor is an indie Roguelike created by Gaslamp Games now available on Steam. Despite commanding a minor price tag of $5 dollars Dungeons of Dredmor is anything but light on content offering hypothetically infinite hours of game-play with randomized dungeons, loot, enemies, bosses and 34 skills in which to mix and match to create a hero truly unique each game. The premise of the game is simply, you are a young male with large eyebrows sent to the depths of the titular dungeon in orde...

A fun dungeon diver, but limited in scope 0

This game is a Rogue-like dungeon diver. Basically, your character is customized with 7 skills at creation and is then thrown into a very long dungeon with the goal of reaching the end. There are no towns, quests, or even a real story; the goal is just to put your RPG skills to the test hunting monsters and loot while avoiding traps. The game had a $5 price at release, which would normally suggest the game has either major problems or very limited gameplay. Dredmor falls in the latter category; e...

    Dungeons of Dredmor Review 0

Dungeons of Dredmor has this almost old school RPG feel to it. You're placed within a randomly generated dungeon and your mission is to buff up your character as well as defeat the ancient evil that has somehow broken the bonds that hold him. You'll have to go through several different types of monsters, survive traps, and learn how to best use what you have at your disposal. If you can do that then perhaps you can save everyone.Graphically you are not going to be blown away by this game, but in...

    Dread The Random Difficulty 0

Tile based procedurally generated dungeon crawler. From that alone most people will already know whether this is the type of game they want to play. If that's the kind of game that appeals to you, then you'll be happy to know that Dungeons of Dredmor offers a pretty polished experience in that vein. However, the game is sadly a victim of the typical problems of procedurally generated games. Just as the items that litter the dungeon floor and the level layout are random, so are the enemy placements...

A game that thinks it's funny...and is, for once. 0

Dungeons of Dredmor is a game which I bought yesterday for one reason: It's cheap (3.99 euros on Steam), and I needed something to play. Little did I know, I'd stumbled on what I consider to be one of the best indie games of this year. Dungeons of Dredmor is a dungeon crawler, it describes itself as a roguelike with graphics, but even with all the difficulty that entails, it is also a joker. Were it a person, it would be the one who played practical jokes on the teacher at school. This game real...
