Chunky Kong is a strong, yet cowardly and unintelligent ape in Donkey Kong 64. He's one hell of a guy.
A surly, crotchety old widower, Cranky Kong made his first appearance in 1994's Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, heralded as the acerbic, wisecracking grandfather of the current Donkey Kong. He was the star of the original Donkey Kong, a fact he lets no one forget.
Diddy Kong made his first appearance in 1994 as Donkey Kong's side-kick in Donkey Kong Country for the SNES. Since then, he has starred in numerous Donkey Kong games, his own Diddy Kong Racing games and Mario sports titles. He wears a red Nintendo hat.
The Original Donkey Kong made his debut in the game of the same name, where he tossed barrels at his nemesis Mario. His grandson, Donkey Kong Jr., went on to create a legacy of his own in games such as Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
Enguarde the Swordfish is an animal buddy and recurring character who has aided the Kongs more than once in their adventures. This character gives the player increased speed on underwater areas as well as the ability to kill enemies with it's sharp bill.
A friendly ostrich who wears sneakers. A helpful ally to the Kongs.
Laid back member of the Kong family, Funky Kong usually supplies services to the Kongs such as allowing them to return to previous worlds. He also appears in Mario Kart Wii & Mario Super Sluggers as a playable character.
Kiddy Kong was introduced in Donkey Kong Country 3 as Dixie's sidekick and cousin. Not much has been seen of him since.
An orangutan of the Kong family. He is one of the playable characters of Donkey Kong 64. He has no style, he has no grace. This Kong has a funny face.
Originally a carpenter named Jumpman, this Italian plumber has gone on to become the most recognizable video game character of them all, starring in a veritable pantheon of titles like kart racing and sports. He has been voiced by Charles Martinet for nearly 20 years.
This brainy swine provides hints to Kongs in trouble in the form of tutorial aid in the DKC Returns series.
Rambi is one of the animal buddies from the Donkey Kong Country series. His first appearance was in Donkey Kong Country on the level "Jungle Hijinks". Riding him allows you to plow through enemies.
An aborigine of Crocodile Isle, Rattly helps Diddy and Dixie defeat his oppressive Kremling neighbors and rescue DK. That super-jump does wonders.
Squawks is one of the animal friends from the Donkey Kong Country series. Out of all the animal buddies, he has the most diverse set of abilities.
Swanky Kong runs the mini-games in Donkey Kong Country 2 and Donkey Kong Country 3.
T.T. is a living stopwatch who helped organize Time Trials in the Diddy Kong Racing games. If players beat his records on every track, he becomes a playable character.
A female member of the Kong family. She is a playable character in Donkey Kong 64.
The grandmother of DK Jr and wife of Cranky Kong (also known as Donkey Kong), Wrinkly Kong has appeared in several of the major Donkey Kong titles. She died between DKC3 and DK64 and is now a ghost.
