I loved the first Dead Space. After hearing all the good things about Dead Space 2 I figured I would complete the game several times. After recently experiencing a marked improvement in my shooter skills due to some serious time spent with Black Ops multiplayer I figured I would cruise through Dead Space 2 on its default difficulty setting before embarking on a Zealot run and possibly even a Hardcore run since I love seriously hard shit (thats what she said). Demon's Souls, Super Meatboy, the Mile High Achievement(which I actually still haven't actually gone back and gotten). I love extreme challenge.
Dead Space 2 is causing me some stress though....On it's default difficulty setting no less.
I'm not sure what the problem is. Part of me wonders if it is the fact that I'm more of a long distance gunner when I play most shooters and DS2 makes you shoot under stress and panic in tight quarters. Anyways, I'm at chapter 10 and I still plan on a New Game + run as soon as I finish the game. I might not jump straight to zealot though...and I may just give up my hardcore dreams(thats also what she said).
