So what does this actually unlock in Dead Space 2? 
I tried registering the game on my account but havent gotten anything yet.

You get a refurbished plasma cutter if you played dead space 1.  It's the same stat wise as the plasma cutter you get in the game just it looks like the one from the first game.

Apparently you get the Riot Suit but iv yet to see how to get it.

You're asked to register the game to your EA account to unlock it but I have no idea on how to log into your EA account in Dead Space 2.

The Riot Suit?  I got the Riot Security Suit without having to register anything. 
 
Not like it matters, because you'll never use anything besides the Elite Engineering Suit anyways.

Isn't it like a Power Node or something?

I think some dude on Rebel FM said you get 2 power nodes from this game.  Can't say for sure since I haven't played this game.

This is ridiculous.  It's like nobody knows what you get for registering it.  Here's a picture that proves that you get one power node, and whatever that special item is remains a mystery. 

Yeah, I sent off an e-mail to EA support a couple of days ago about this, hopefully I'll get a useful response.

the iPhone game is pretty fun though, and Dead Space 2 is awesome.

So. I got no word within DS2 about DS-iOS unlocks. So that is strange. 
 
Linking your DS2 with EA is simple I guess. Go to the website and link your PSN/XBL (or both) account to your EA-account. I actually have a ton of subaccounts (Battlefield) aggregated on ea.com.

i wish the reward was my 10 bux back
