I live in Canada and really don't enjoy paying $80 for games, and I also want to play Dead Rising 4 on PC.

Do you think Dead Rising 4 is going to be a game that's crossbuy and should I take advantage of the 20% off preorder deal they have going on now for the Xbox version? Does the crossbuy even work with disc versions of games? Now that I think about it is this how Microsoft gets rid of used games? There's no way they'll let you buy the disc version, add it to your Windows library, then sell the disc back.

Do you think the game is Microsoft enough that it won't get on steam and won't be selling keys to greenman gaming?

According to this article, it isn't confirmed to be a cross buy game. Also, Dead Rising 3 was on Steam, so maybe it will get a Steam release.

I don't think Dead Rising 4 is being published by Microsoft so I would guess it'll make its way to steam.

Welp, nevermind, it appears Dead Rising 4 is to have a year long exclusivity to the XB1 and Windows 10 store. Even Rise of the Tomb Raider made it onto Steam mere months after its XB1 'exclusivity'.

I also found out it has been announced that play anywhere is digital only.
