    Overview

Cyber-Core is a Shoot 'Em Up developed by Alfa System and published by Information Global Service for the TurboGrafx-16 platform. After Earth comes under attack by an advanced insectoid alien species, an experimental bio-craft based on their technology is developed for a human pilot. This ship, the Chimera, is capable of changing shape whenever it finds new power-ups, modifying its HP and damage output.

Cyber-Core was released on the PC Engine and the Sharp X68000 in 1990. It was localized for the US TurboGrafx-16 the same year, but changed the pilot's name from Kato Melange to "Rad Ralph".
