    Color a Dinosaur

Game » consists of 1 releases. Released July 1993

As the title states, the gameplay consists of coloring different dinosaurs. Unlike programs such as MS Paint, however, the only coloring option available is to fill in an entire area with a pattern, instead of manually doing it yourself.

    How to waste your time.

This shouldn't even count as a game; it's just an electronic coloring book. There are no mini-games, and there is no animation. The SNES and Mario Paint were already out, so releasing it for the NES was a baffling choice. Very little content is in the game. There are only 16 images to color and the only tool available for coloring is the paint bucket to fill in a section with a certain color (you can't even create a custom color palette to color with, you can only choose from a very limited selection of color palettes). At least making paint will be faster and easier. But the painting controls are extremely awkward and clunky, which can make painting the dinosaur a massive chore to do. Also, it can take up to a whole minute for the game to fully color the area of the image you selected, and you cannot do a thing with the game while it does this, so you must wait until it is done painting in the image. And just to top everything off, it has no options to save any images you already colored! Don't even waste your time on this one.
