He wasn't in MGS3. Or MGS2 actually. He was only in 1,4 and PO. I haven't played PO, but MGS4 is only 9 years after MGS1, so he could easily still be doing his job.

OMG, think. MGS3:PO takes action in 70's. Campbell is surely no older than 30. If it's that so, that means that Campbell is 50-60 years old in MGS4. If you want to know, how old is he in MGS2, just delete five hears.
