An arcade cabinet (also known as an arcade machine) is popular among clubs, theme parks, shopping malls and even in some homes. It is a form of entertainment to the owner or guests playing it; the machine usually requires coins to be inserted, in order to play.

Purple Coins are specialized coins that appear in the Super Mario Galaxy series. They only appear on galaxies when a Purple Comet is nearby. If Mario collects 100 Purple Coins in a level, a Power Star is granted.
