He started off in the Doom map making scene and released a number of popular wads for the original Doom. In 1994 his maps become part of the unofficial commercial Doom expansion "The Lost Episodes of Doom" published by Sybex Inc, and in 1995 some of his maps were included on the official Master Levels for Doom II map pack. Another of his maps appeared on the H!Zone CD-ROM, a compilation of maps for Hexen and Heretic, released in 1996.
He was then hired by LucasArts as a level and scenario designer for Outlaws and later the Rogue Squadron series.
