Games whose titles consist of a single word.
The title of a game is a year, or has a year in it. Normally used for sports game and other annual titles, but also used to designate when a game takes place rather than the year released.
Game titles that only consist of numbers and nothing else.
A professional and amateur sport, played world-wide, in which two teams advance a ball up and down a court in order to score "field goals," by throwing the ball through a basket or hoop. The team with the highest score at the end of timed play wins.
A sport in which the player throws a ball down a lane in order to knock over 10 pins that are set up in a triangular shape.
Whether searching for loot as a pirate, or attacking enemy ships in the navy, there is nothing quite like sailing the seas.
Golf is a sport in which golf balls are hit with golf clubs in holes on a course. The fewest swings wins.
A concept commonly used in pinball machines that nets players extra points.
An on-rails game behaves much like a train: while sometimes the player can choose which path is taken, they cannot deviate from it. Sometimes on-rails games even go so far as to decide when the player moves.
First-Person is a vantage point that attempts to simulate looking through a game character's eyes. It is most commonly found in first-person shooters, racing games, and visual novels, and to a lesser extent in other genres, such as RPGs, 3D platformers, and adventure games.
