    Overview

    A catfight is a physical altercation between two women in which the forms of attack used generally include scratching with their fingernails, pulling hair, and slapping.  In popular culture, some forms of entertainment have depicted such fights in a sexual manner, though this manner of depiction is not universal.  The term has also been used as the name for the poorly reviewed all-female fighting game Catfight.

    Final Fantasy VII

    During an encounter on the barrel of the Sister Ray canon, Tifa Lockhart gets into a catfight with the Shinra executive Scarlet in which the two take turns slapping each other across the face.  At the fight's conclusion, Tifa takes a moment to remark that her cheeks hurt.
