Many games have ammo. In some, you can design your own. Ammo is put in a weapon and fired as a projectile.
A pack one wears on their back.
Also known as "body armor", ballistic vests are designed to stop various firearm rounds. Commonly worn by soldiers and police. The Nation Institute of Justice rates the protection capability of body from Level I (up to small calibers like .22LR) to Level IV (up to armor-piercing calibers like .30-06 M2)
A piece of cloth worn on the head, often worn by soldiers to keep sweat out of their eyes. Can also be worn around the neck and used to cover the face to hide one's identity.
A pocketed belt that carries ammo. Mostly used by cowboys but also worn by soldiers.
A type of hat with a long, stiff brim that can be either rounded or flat.
The ball typically used in the sport of bowling. Can sometimes be used as a weapon for non-bowling games.
A cardboard box is handy for many things, but it's probably best known as something Solid Snake can hide under.
Identification tags worn by military personnel that carry basic personal and medical info.
Gloves with outward finger inserts.
A Gatling gun is a machine gun that uses multiple rotating barrels to rapidly fire bullets. Commonly mounted on vehicles or gunships, some larger characters may carry a hand held version.
Girders are the life blood of most modern architecture. They can be jumped on, climbed up, thrown, or bent by some kind of bending robot.
A grenade is an explosive device traditionally thrown by hand, but may also be propelled by a rifle or launcher.
A stylish and sometimes functional piece of headwear.
Helicopters are flying vehicles, typically with a single large main rotor to maintain lift with a tail rotor to counter rotation induced by this main rotor. They are useful in air to ground combat as well as for quickly inserting and recovering infantry close to the front line.
Whether it's worn for protection or style, helmets appear in various game genres.
A knife is a commonly seen object in video games. Usually used for close quarters combat, or as a cutting tool.
A "lighter" is a portable object commonly seen in some video game series. For example: Resident Evil and Silent Hill, where the atmosphere is dark and terrifying.
A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
A weapon that launches rockets.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
Tinted glasses - used to shield the user direct sunlight. Sunglasses are also used as a fashion accessory or as part of a disguise.
A length of exceptionally sharp metal with a handle, used for centuries as the go-to killing device for the human race. It's dead simple: you stick the pointy end in the thing you want to die. Or you could always slash them with the equally sharp sides. That works too.
A tank is generally a heavily armoured and armed, tracked vehicle designed to be at the front of a combined forces attack.
Tattoos are the oldest and most popular (next to piercings) form of body modification. They appear in numerous video games, probably due to their popularity in the real world.
