    Boom Blox Bash Party is a video game developed by EA Los Angeles and director Steven Spielberg for the Wii console. It is a sequel to Boom Blox, which was released on May 6th, 2008 in North America, and May 9th in Europe.

    I'm considering purchasing Boom Blox: Bash Party.  From the reviews, the big improvement over the original (which I can pick up for about half the cost) is the ability to download new levels from other users and from EA itself through EA's servers.  However, it really seems that EA has started to gain a reputation for shutting down their servers for games relatively quickly this generation.  Are EA's servers still up for this game?

    I don't have the game but I checked the official site and it mentions user created content. I would guess it's still up. I don't believe they're very big files. The gamefaqs board is dead, so no info there.

    Just a follow-up in case any one was wondering.  My copy of the game arrived today and I can confirm the servers are still up.
