I'm going to be hosting numerous lobbies for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift for the PS3 over the next weeks/months/etc. The lobbies will have max participants allowed (6) with a Winners stay rotation. Unlimiteds will be allowed, but don't be a douchiepoo about them. It is just for fun, afterall. Details are subject to change based on request.

If you want in on it, send me a friend request at MaceX so I can send you an invite into the lobby, leave me a message in this thread saying you want to participate as well as your PSN ID, or just send me a PM with your PSN.

All play levels welcome! Nub or Expert, idea is just to have fun with fellow Bombers while beating each other senseless.

I'll edit this post when the lobby goes up/down.

Any other BB:CS PSN players are welcome to use this thread to setup their own matches with fellow bombers.

First official fight night that was organized in this thread was a success! 
Though we were still down 2 fighters, it was still good fun that resulted in some intense matches.

I so want in on this. I'm not to into the idea of unlimiteds but if the first fight night went good then I guess...
Anyway, I've had BlazBlue for a good while now and haven't really got into the online and my skill level is probably slightly higher then a newbie.

After watching that second video I realized I fail to understand how Astral Heats work. How did it go through Makoto's DD?
 
Also, pretty good on the Taokaka match. I rarely see two fighters so skilled that the time runs out twice. So close both times too. Also I may be a bad person for this but I crack up every time I hear the announcer yell "Look at time!".

I'm not quite sure, but I LOVE those final thirty seconds. The poses of both characters right before the DD makes it a lot more intense. 
I thought I was doomed because when Makoto does her DD, she sort of freezes time and the opponent can't do squat. Apparently though, they are given a moment to react right as the fist is summoned. So I was mashing the command for Noel's Astral Heat. 
 
I'm still not quite sure what happened. I guess the AH takes priority if it inputed fast enough. Because that fist clearly went right through me. I'll have to try and re-enact it in training to get a better sense of what is going on. 
 
That Tao match was adorable, I couldn't help but upload it. Plus, Shirogane was asking for it. 
Hopefully we can get some better quality highlights in the next fight night. Unfortunately, I don't think I am able to record the ones I don't take part in, so it would have to be up to somebody else to save them.

I started out pretty strong, had an EPIC Noel match against Ghost and finally won. That match was freaking intense, so much so, that I was spent after that. All my battles after that were fairly lackluster.  xD 
 
Looking forward to seeing yall again for the Fight Night, probably sometime after Christmas! 
Eventually we'll get a full lobby of Bombers :)

Glad to see some people on Giant Bomb playing this game.  I really need to play this more.

I've decided to no longer host Fight Nights on Thursday Nights, because we cannot compete with the TNT stream. I figured tonight was going to be okay, but then there was a spontaneous TNT, and there were no attendees besides Ghost and myself. So we will push it back to some other day.
 
Also, classes will be starting soon for me, so the weekdays are pretty much out of the question. 
We will probably be playing on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from here on out.  

Next Fight Night will be TBA
 
To tonight's roster, don't feel bad about not showing up. I understand the interest in TNT was greater and probably more entertaining, so don't worry about it.  

We'll just punish you by making you fight UNLIMITED TAO. 
 

Fight Night this Friday?

I (Ghost as well) would really like to setup a Fight Night for this Friday (Tomorrow) at 6 pm PST (8 central, 9 EST). If this is a suitable time for everyone, I would like to start hosting Fight Nights every Friday night from here on out. 
If there is a better day that works for you, let me know. Friday was just the first choice and can easily be changed. So let me know!
