Big Face is a supporting character featured in the Oddworld series. In Abe's Oddysee, his role is to assist Abe, savior of the Mudokons, in his quest to free their people and restore balance to the land. Abe first encounters Big Face after falling down a cliff and receiving a concussion-induced vision from the shaman, instructing him to complete the trials of his ancestors and receive the powers of the Mudokons' invincible demigod, Shrykull.
Big Face only makes a short appearance in Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus; during the opening cutscene, Abe is accidentally knocked unconscious by an overzealous pat on the back from Big Face, granting him yet another mystical vision and a new quest to save even more of his fellow Mudokons.
