    Overview

BattlEye is an anti-cheat system used in some online enabled video games. BattlEye was created by Bastian Suter in 2004 as a third-party anti-cheat tool for Battlefield: Vietnam. BattlEye was then ported to Battlefield 1942 and was used in some gaming leagues.

The first game to officially integrate BattlEye was Warsow in 2006.
