    Battle quips are one liners that are used during a battle. They are meant to annoy the enemy and usually have something to do with how awful the opponent fights. In video games, battle quips usually happen during boss battles and have a tendency of repeating themselves.

    Popular battle quips include:

    • "Is that it?"
    • "You fight like <something that cannot fight very well>"
    • "I'll kill you like I killed <person who is dead>!"
    • "This is for <friend who was killed or otherwise wronged by you>!"
    • "I can not be stopped!"
