I wonder how she'll handle the gliding that Batman can do... or maybe she just won't. Either way, dig it.

Batman is too good for Catwoman... Talia is more suited for him, plus she's already his baby momma.

I don't actually understand what this means in terms of how we get to control her. Is it in certain portions of the campaign? Is there a whole other campaign just for her? Do they remove batman and just let you play as her during the campaign with nothing changed? Is it only for challenge rooms, or can we just run around the area as her but with no story attached? 

Those camera angles were more than a little indulgent.

So's Selina though, but eh... They're both kinda bad news! Plus Batman is too good for everyone. EVERYONE!!! Love this trailer, captures Catwoman to a tee just through all the animation, framing, music etc! Just oozes that sultry Selina Kyle slink.  How nuts to live in a world where a developer with basically no track record can make such mindblowing stuff with the Batman license.

Honestly wasn't expecting this. If Rocksteady wants to put more stuff in a game I was sold on the minute I finished Arkham Asylum, good on 'em.

For some reason this made me less excited about the game.

Never really liked Catwoman or any other member of the "Bat Family" for that matter. I think Batman is at his best when alone.

Lykke Li was an inspired choice for this trailer.

The only thing I hope they improve in terms of batman (and I guess catwoman in this case also) is his perceived bulkiness while dodging or just moving around in general. If they could make that stuff look more swift, fluid and quick then this is honestly going to be the perfect sequel.

From what i've read ( including an article on gamespot, http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6316489/batman-arkham-city-updated-hands-on-preview/?tag=updates%3Beditor%3Ball%3Btitle%3B1 ) she has a separate narrative but it takes place simultaneously with that of Batman's. basically you play certain story sections as her  (something along the lines of 10% of the whole story) but i believe you will also be able to switch to her and just roam the city and she has unique side missions. plus certain riddler trophies can only be obtained by using her character.  Also she will fight and move around in a completely different manner besides the ceiling climb :  " Catwoman will take a much more physical approach to getting around that relies on her trusty whip, parkour-like moves, and good old fashioned climbing and jumping"  
she also has a different detective vision (thief vision) which focuses on things she can steal and so forth. and ofcourse as you can see from the trailer she has a much lighter and faster fighting style with more flashy moves. plus she also has her own gadgets and a mini progression path in terms of upgrades.  
 
all in all its looks pretty awesome, it looks like they have created a whole other playable character and not just a re-skinned batman. cant wait for this game to come out!

I really would have preferred Robin.  A little acrobatic character beating up ridiculously-huge thugs in his underwear?

Kinda bummed with the design, don't like the pink sunglasses and the heavy make up and hair showing.

I like how her fighting style looks different, even if it's only the animations so far. Co-op would be interesting, but something tells me not this time around.

That was actually kind of cool. Her agility, or whatever you want to call it, seems like a good fit for Arkham's style of combat.
 
I hope it's the sort of situation where after you beat the game you can play through with which ever character you want. I'm not saying I'm in to playing as Catwoman, I just think the option would be nice.

Why the hell does Catwoman kiss the bad guy she's beating up?   Oh yeah, 'cause she's a girl so she has to do "sexy" stuff, even if it means being physically intimate with a revolting dude trying to kill her.  That plus the needless camera angles on her butt doesn't say much for Rocksteady's take on women.  Turning Harley into a tarted-up bondage nurse in the last game didn't help either.  Now I loved Arkham Asylum, and lots of this game looks damn impressive.  I'm gonna play it.  But it's likely that the Catwoman stuff might be a low point.  I hope not, because including her as a powerful, self-sufficient character would be fantastic.
