Good, if a tad arcade-like-sim
Baseball Mogul 2009 was my introduction to PC based baseball sim's. Prior to discovering this, I spent countless hours deciding the call-up's and hot dog prices on the franchise mode in MVP Baseball 2005 for Xbox (Still the best baseball game ever). After the MLB license was bought, I thought I was doomed to continue playing my beloved old game without roster updates. Then Baseball Mogul came onto my horizon. All of my tweaking in the console game was perfectly translated in Mogul. It also exposed a number of flaws that MVP could be ignored by playing a couple real games. Why is it that so few players develop? When the few do develop, why do they crap out after age 29? Why can't I train any drafted guys into being complete game guys? But these are nitpicks. For guy who enjoy resource managing, but not too in-depth. this is the game.
