Well Assassin's Creed 2 pulled the ol' proverbial puppy dog eyes today and convinced me to let it stay. The game markedly improved since last night. I'm really loving the Prince of Persia-like assassin's tombs and trying to get the villa up to scratch. Although the combat isn't getting too much better (counter attack, grab, counter attack, grab) the slow-going tutorial-like play has gifted me some new abilities. Nothing like throwing an archer over the battlements. Too bad there isn't a death-cam for it.

Plus if I returned it, it'd mean I'd be returning it without finishing the campaign (because it's just a beastly length!) so to finish it, I'd have to buy it again. And since I bought it at 50% this time, I probably wouldn't be able to match that next time. And it now means I can finally put it down and play RDR and Fallout 3! Yay! Although they seem not as cool any more because they had the whole "I'll save your gaming experience!" vibe to them when I hated AC2. Ah well.

Is it obvious I've had 3 hours sleep???
