Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, ZombiePie, am once again your host as we look back at the site-related news and best user-created works from around the web!

We have another note about the video player for premium that might be helpful for a few of your reading this. If you use Firefox, the video player for premium is through JWPlayer's video CDN. As Chuck pointed out on the "site-tech-issues" channel on the Giant Bomb Discord, if there's anything between you and them that Firefox does not like, it can cause the video player to not work or display an error. For example, there's a setting to aggressively mess with tracking cookies that has been a culprit to making the video player not work on Firefox in he past. A user on the Discord recently shared that switching from "strict" to "balanced" tracking addressed their issues.

As always, if you wish to change your username or email, be aware, you can't do that through the site or in your profile settings anymore. You'll need to contact Chuck by sending an email to [email protected]. The wait on this fix has been pretty quick.

Colin Hemphill, the person behind Blight Club Unauthorized, is happy to report that the ripcord that is Space Ace is doing its job of bringing back some equilibrium with Blight Club as you can see below. In case you've forgotten about Blight Club Unauthorized, it has virtually every stat you could want related to Blight Club:

Finally, for any of you that have fond memories of The Giant Beastcast, I need you to stop everything you are doing and watch the needle drop for Carolina Caroline from Magnolia Pictures. Huge props to friend of the site, Lexi, for finding this one out!

Fan Art

Mike Minotti x Evangelion (By: Chicago Ted)

After Final Fantasy XIV announced they would be doing a collab with Evangelion, Mike shared that it might finally be time for them to watch Evangelion. Over on bsky, Chicago Ted tried to image Mike as part of the show's legendary opening credits.

Get Crunk'd (By: moondoggydogg)

For reasons I don't entirely understand there was a lot of fan art for Walter Krunk cropping up. Below you can enjoy moondoggydogg trying to imagine what a supposed Walter Krunk would even look like. If you ask me, I think the second image is more apt.

Walter Crunk waving. he looks suspiciously like Dan Ryckert, he wears a blue shirt with a dinosaur on it. The shirt has green writing that says, 'dino sawsome'. There is text next to him that says 'Get Crunk'd'.

The Usual Suspects Meets Walter Crunk (By: vanguard-posts)

vanguard-posts also joins us with a fun re-imaging of Walter Krunk but this time as if Mike discovering the truth was the ending to The Usual Suspects. When you look at that final panel, you can't help but think they completely nailed Dan's ruse.

A parody of The Usual Suspects. In the top frame, Mike Minotti is sitting by a peg board of evidence. In the middle frame, a broken cup is on the ground with the words "Walter Crunk Porcelain". In the bottom frame, Dan Ryckert is walking down the street with a shit eating grin and posting something using his mobile phone.

Mike Playing The PS1 With His Brothers For The First Time (By: scottydontknovv)

Here's another gem from bsky, but this time from scottydontknovv. If you have been watching 9 Lives, you may recall when Mike and Will Crosby shared a heartwarming image from Mike's childhood. Well, this photoshop decided to reveal the "truth" about that photo.

Giant Bomb x Bubsy 4D (By: Tosshi)

Whelp... we have reached the official release of Bubsy 4D and if the reviews for the game are to be any judge, it sounds like the team at Fabraz made the first genuinely good Bubsy game... ever. Will this result in a future DeLite Club? Who's to say, but Discord Mod Tosshi went ahead and made this banner just in case.

An invite link to the Giant Bomb Discord has been included above. If you want to catch art like this when it first drops, consider joining the Discord!
