Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, ZombiePie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the major site-related news as well as the best user-created works from the previous week! As you probably saw on bsky or during the handful of programs that streamed this week, the Giant Bomb crew was on the mend from a variety of illnesses and maladies that forced some programs like Blight Club to get delayed. Nonetheless, the team kept on trucking and the community was as busy as ever!
You may have recalled me mentioning that Jan was on a non-Giant Bomb related panel during PAX and that was for the Normandy FM podcast. You can catch the audio-only version of the panel on SoundCloud.
Over on PAX's YouTube account, you can watch the VOD for the Giant Bomb team blighting Vinny Caravella. Presently, the site has a quick look for KASSO FEST and a quick look showing a travelogue on what PAX East 2026 was like behind the scenes.
Some other important housekeeping items. If you have a question about submitting content to a wiki page, whether it be about release dates, covers, banners, supporting images/screenshots, or even if something is worthy of including in the database in the first place, head on over to the Wiki Street Team section of the Giant Bomb Discord. That channel isn't just for discussions about the wiki code and technical updates; it's where real discussions about everything even tangentially related to the wiki is done.
The person behind the Bomb Cyclone iPhone App has been working on re-enabling push notifications, which are still being delivered to version 1.x. However, to use and access the app you need to upgrade to v2.0, which is currently in TestFlight beta form. When it asks for an API key, remember that is found on your profile page as the blurred put bit.
Chuck updated a bunch of videos that were missing from their show pages or tabs. This includes them adding 76 Quick Looks and 8 Unfinished videos. If you can think of a video that is missing completely, contact Chuck with a link to the archive.org VOD or the Duders Zone page and the episode number and feature title and they can make the magic happen.
Likewise, Chuck found an issue with search indexing from the wiki and is working on a long-term effort to clear that up. The issue seems to stem from the wiki using bureaucrat type categories but just know that fixing this is part of a larger effort to make the site's search better.

Finally, this week marks the start of the 2026 edition of the Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run charity event! For those unaware, the Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run is the spring-time charity drive that is run by Giant Bomb users. The event this year will run from April 10th through the 12th and if any of you reading this plan to stream at all during that weekend, please consider joining the group by creating a page for Pencils of Promise and joining the Giant Bomb PoP team! Pencils of Promise is an educational charity that is connected to efforts to build schools, train teachers, and send kids to school in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos and they are committed to guaranteeing that 100% of your donations goes towards charitable efforts and since its foundation has been a 501(c)(3) organization. If you can't join, please consider spreading the word or donating any amount you can spare.

Cloudflare Being Much More Aggressive About Verifying If You're A Human Lately [Responded] (By: laughingman)
If you have been asked to verify if you are human via Cloudflare, regardless if you are on a VPN or not, be aware that this is intentional and a temporary precaution due to a recent wave of aberrant traffic. Again, if you are still being asked to go through hoops when using the Giant Bomb site, this is planned to be temporary once some of this settles and goes away.
